Boarding
Focus Forward Driving Center includes a 10 stall extra-wide-aisle barn, designed with equine comfort in mind. Stalls are 12 x 12 ft matted, equipped with an automatic fly spray system, and feature external dutch doors for additional access.
The facility is designed for easy, safe & convenient traffic patterns to the spacious feed & tack rooms. A custom-designed, newly constructed wash stall completes the picture!
Turnout options include spacious grass pastures, private paddocks, dry lot options, and turnout areas with run-ins, in order to accommodate a wide variety of dietary, herd compatibility, weather, and exercise requirements.

Arenas, Courses, Trails
Focus Forward includes a 30 x 60 meter covered arena, specifically designed for carriage driving. You will find the granite dust footing mixed with chopped tennis shoes offers a solid surface for carriages, as well as enough cushion for the horses. Great for long lining, lunging, starting young horses, beginner driving lessons, and groundwork clinics, this covered arena provides ample space to work during inclement weather.
Adjacent to the covered arena, a full size (40 x 100) meter grass dressage arena is actively under construction, to be used for horses in training, lessons and clinics.
Also available is a 60 foot round-pen. Its proximity to the stable yard makes it a great choice for group and spectator events.
A smaller fenced oval grass arena is used for weekly cones courses, hosts a temporary obstacle, & is also suitable for riding, driving or groundwork activities,
The expansive property includes multiple options for trail driving, as well.
The Glenarvon Show Grounds
Focus Forward also has access to the on-site Glenarvon Showgrounds, with lighting and sound systems for all arenas.
Built to welcome local equine clubs and competitors of all disciplines, it features a 40 x 80 meter grass dressage arena, plus another large arena with granite dust footing, used for cones courses and derby obstacles. Between these is a smaller warm-up or holding area.
A gravel parking area, competitors area, and show office complete the picture! The showgrounds is located just a one mile pleasant (carriage!) drive from the barn, down the farm's private driveway.

The Carriage House
The well-appointed Carriage House features Sayre Graves' private collection of antique carriages, carts, and harnesses.
Staff are happy to arrange tours and to discuss the history, design, features & purpose of each vehicle.
It also serves as a reception area for parties, meetings, and gatherings, and functions as a comfortable indoor classroom space for clinics and events.
Plan Your Stay at Glenarvon !
Due to our rural location, we have opened “The Chickfield House” for our guests or members that wish to schedule an overnight stay.
The Chickfield Guest House is located adjacent to the main barn, with picturesque views of the horse pastures. House includes shared use of first floor full bath & upstairs half bath, kitchen, dining and living areas. (No Smoking. No children under the age of 10. No Pets.)
Stalls and/or paddock space is available to keep your horse comfortable during your stay. Please supply your own feed, hay, bedding and care.
Contact us to reserve accommodations for your stay! Overnight rates: $50 per person and $15 per horse. Room options include full, king, 2 twins or 3 twins. Additional housing is available in adjacent houses if necessary for larger groups.
